Mission Accomplished

Just wanting to let it be known that the issue I discussed last week was taken care of.  I’m still suffering from a mild form of PTSD, but I guess I’ll get over it.

My wife has found it to be an amusing story to tell everyone, however.  Perhaps she’s just proud of my newfound (wimpy) manliness.

Who knows.

Anyways, this is (obviously) a new week, and with new weeks come new feelings of either dread or excitement.  I’m somewhere in the middle.  Looking forward, I do have the excitement of completing revisions on Buddy Hero on the near horizon.  Looking slightly past that, I have the re-querying process to also look forward to. . . I’m on the fence about whether or not I’m excited about that one.

I’m actually getting eager for the near future.  I’ve been really enjoying the changes to Buddy’s book and I think it’s a helluva lot stronger because of it.  This makes me (oddly enough) rather excited about doing the same thing to The Agora Files.  That book (from the few reviews I’ve received) is already much more solid than Buddy was, but I think shows great promise with some minor tweaks.

Of course, the real starts of the revisions on Buddy are the few character changes I’ve made, as well as the increased action and decreased dramatic monologues. Things are flowing much snappier and we have a much better pay-off in development at the moment.  I’m actually in the midst of re-writing the final battle and things are making a whole lot more sense, are much more exciting, and aren’t over nearly as quickly as before.

In other worse, this book is going to be pretty darn amazing.

Let’s just hope we can convince those doggone agents of that 🙂

Anyways, gotta get back to it, have a good one!
