When I get busy, I have the horrid habit of talking to myself. It’s usually just an internal dialog regarding my upcoming tasks that somehow makes it to my mouth.
I’ve known that I have this habit for quite some time (it’s something that’s hard to ignore, isn’t it?) but yesterday I came across a portion of the habit that I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed previously.
I don’t listen to myself when I talk.
I was debating something with myself, trying to figure out how I was going to make something work (I think). This personal conversation had been going on for quite some time as I was doing some cleaning around the house. All of a sudden, something came out of my mouth, I heard it, but had no clue what it had to do with what I thought I was talking about.
I suddenly realized that this conversation I was having with myself had gone on past my attention span and became a discussion about something completely different.
I still don’t know what I was talking about.
I obviously need to relax. . .
Anyways, another super busy day, so another short article.
Talk to you soon.
Have a good one.
