Welcome to the Fat Mogul Productions Website. More than likely, you got here by accident. That's cool, we're still happy to have you. But you're probably wondering, what the heck's going on with this site. Well, it's pretty simple. You see, we're not your average production company. In fact, we're barely a production company in that we have no money. We have scraped by over the years with enough to pick up some equipment here and there, and to rent locations or other such things, but we all work just for the fun of it. So, here's the thing, our "mission statement" for you labelers out there, we just try to make entertainment. Sure, our work is filled with mistakes. We definitely have a continuity error here or there, or a plot hole that never gets filled. Heck, even our acting gets a little flat now and then. Microphones aren't picking up, camera is wobbly, lighting's horrible, and those are just the things we can pick out. So, why do we try if even we realize all the flaws in our work. Well, it's simple. It's for the purest part of any art form. We like to fly from the seat of our pants. Now, sure, we could definitely practice more, find a few more writers, or any number of things, but we've realized something with our years of work, when you're not paying someone, don't expect them to be there tomorrow. So, yeah, we have to work fast as well. Like our first film, deadline. This film we determined we would give ourselves two months to make. That's from writing to having a dvd in our hands. That's not much time. In fact, we had set this timeline in order to get it to a film festival (which we had no chance of getting into) on time. It turned out, we ended up having to drive across the wonderful state of Wisconsin just to get it there on time. And we hadn't even had the chance to get it for any massive glaring errors. Turned out there were a few. You'll see something a bit more along the lines of the original vision for deadline in deadline Redux. But, well. . . . why don't you just decide for yourselves. Anyways, have fun poking around, and we hope to be putting more up here as we can. And we always love e-mails telling us what you think. Be as mean as you want. We're thickskinned.
